As reported by ScreenDaily, Apple TV+ has decided not to pick up Season 2 of Sunny, a show that features Rashida Jones as a women dealing with grief who is giving a robot named Sunny by her husband who is presumed dead.
Sunny was produced by A24, and received positive ratings from critics with a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes but a more disappointing audience score of 66% as of this writing.

Sunny ended on a cliffhanger that suggested more was in store for Jones’ character, Sunny, and her friend Mixxy played by annie the clumsy.
