AWA 2026 is welcoming back several familiar faces to its musical lineup, including Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES and Korean performers from20 and HELLO GLOOM. Joining them this year is Japanese solo idol Aonyan, a former member of Dempagumi.inc and ARCANA PROJECT.
The convention will take place November 19–22, 2026, at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta.
Aonyan
Aonyan is a Japanese solo idol and former member of the influential idol group Dempagumi.inc and anisong vocal unit ARCANA PROJECT. Now performing as a solo artist, she has reinvented herself as a self-described combat-type idol, bringing her unique character-inspired voice and energetic performances to stages throughout Japan.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Japanese idol culture or discovering her for the first time, Aonyan brings a distinctive addition to this year’s musical guest lineup.
BURNOUT SYNDROMES
Anime fans will likely recognize BURNOUT SYNDROMES from their contributions to some of the biggest anime soundtracks of the past decade. The Osaka-based rock trio is best known for its work on *Haikyu!!*, including the popular opening themes “FLY HIGH!!,” “Hikariare,” and “PHOENIX.”
Their music has also appeared in *Gintama* with “Hanaichimonme” and *Dr. STONE* with “Good Morning World!” More recently, the band celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025 and the 10th anniversary of its major-label debut in 2026.
With a catalog of memorable anime openings and a reputation for energetic live performances, BURNOUT SYNDROMES should be a particularly exciting addition for anime music fans.
Fans can also purchase a special VIP experience during the band’s 2026 USA tour.
