Jennie, a member of the acclaimed K-Pop group Blackpink, has released a teaser for her first solo album, Ruby, set to drop on March 7th.
In the teaser, Jennie showcases the album’s distinctive imagery and sound while hinting at a star-studded lineup of collaborators, including:
- Childish Gambino
- Doechii
- Dominic Fike
- Dua Lipa
- FKJ
- Kali Uchis
Jennie parted ways with her longtime labels, YG Entertainment and Interscope Records, in 2024. She is releasing Ruby under her own label, Odd Atelier, in partnership with Columbia Records. The album’s first single, “Mantra,” debuted on October 11, 2024.
Prior to this, Jennie released her debut single, “Solo,” in 2018. She also collaborated on tracks like “One of the Girls” with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp for HBO’s The Idol, in which Jennie had a featured acting role.
