Warner Bros. Japan released the trailer for the forthcoming anime series ‘Reign of the Seven Spellblades’. The anime’s release is set for July 2023.
Synopsis: The stage is the prestigious Kimberley School of Magic.
Here, 20% of the students by the time they graduate are irrecoverable, missing, or go insane due to their quest for magic, and eventually die.
This is as they say at the school, “being swallowed by the devil”——.
At the entrance ceremony, Oliver Horn arrives at the school determined. He is calm and rational, but you can feel the will hidden deep in his heart. Around him, boys and girls with various origins and backgrounds gather at this school and work hard to become wizards, but the threat of Kimberly, called the Devil’s Nest, turns against them.
What fate awaits Oliver who meets his friends and faces various difficulties?
‘Reign of the Seven Spellblades’ was developed from an original story by Bokuto Uno, who wrote the original light novel series. Kadokawa Shoten published the original manga series, with Yen Press releasing the titles in English.
Masato Matsune is directing with anime production by J.C.STAFF and music by Yumemi Whale.
