Netflix released the first official teaser for ‘PLUTO’ the anime adaptation of Naoki Urasawa’s take on Osamu Tezuka’s ‘Astroy Boy’. Netflix previously announced this anime adaptation in February 2023. ‘PLUTO’ will begin streaming on Netflix exclusively Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Synopsis: A murder occurs in an orderly world where robots are unable to kill humans. The robotic Europol investigator Gesicht takes the case, but the mystery deepens when he finds no trace of a human at the scene of the crime. As he pursues the truth, Gesicht uncovers the most evil manifestation of hate that history ever seen, one that is bent on bringing destruction to the world…
‘PLUTO’ is co-authored by Takashi Nagasaki. Masao Maruyama, Taro Maki, Yuji Yamano serve as excutive producers. ‘PLUTO’ will be directed by Toshio Kawaguchi.
