Netflix teased Squid Game Season 2 with the release of a teaser as part of their NEXT ON NETFLIX 2024: The Series & Films Preview. Netflix has announced that Squid Game Season 2 will be released in 2024.
Squid Game, a 2021 Korean drama series where contestants compete in a deadly battle for money, became a huge hit for the streaming service upon its release. Netflix reported 142 million member households watched Squid Game worldwide. Since then fans have been awaiting details of Season 2.

In the teaser we see Gi-hun, portrayed by Lee Jung-Jae, on a phone call promising to seek and track the mysterious caller on the other end.
