Netflix released the final trailer for the live-action adaptation of ‘One Piece’, which showcases Luffy’s goal to become King of the Pirates. ‘One Piece’ begins streaming on Netflix tomorrow August 31, 2023.
One Piece, written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, began as a manga series in 1997 in Shonen Jump. Since then One Piece has broken many records for sales over the years, and remains one of if not the most popular series in Japan.
Netflix’s new ONE PIECE adaptation is created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix. Matt Owens and Steven Maeda are writers, executive producers and showrunners. Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements also executive produce.
