Hulu released the trailer for ‘Self-Reliance’, a comedy thriller written, directed by, and starring Jake Johnson. ‘Self-Reliance’ will premiere on Hulu on January 12th, 2024.
In the film, Jake stars as Tommy Walcott, a man who joins a challenge for a million dollars that he can win if only he eludes the hunters trying to kill them. He quickly learns he cannot be killed when he’s with anyone else, and so he attempts to tie his fate to others – if only they’ll just stay with him.
Johnson is joined by Andy Samberg, playing himself, Anna Kendrick, Mary Holland, Christopher Lloyd, Biff Wiff, Natalie Morales, Emily Hampshire, Boban Marjanović, GaTa, and Wayne Brady.
